System Restore
For those of you using windows vista and have been losing your hard disk space, you should follow the steps I have listed below to enable you restore your hard disk space.
You can do this all the time whenever you notice that your disk is losing space.
This system is very effective as often times the conventional system restore method to the previous date used might not work. Here is how to go about it;
Start Run cleanmgr
Meaning, when you open your START menu, then type RUN in the search box and ENTER.
When the window opens, type cleanmgr as shown below then take enter

You will decided which files to clean as shown


Then allow it to run when prompted to, and select C drive.


once your cleanmgr runs, now select MORE OPTIONS tab up on top not Disk Cleanup and click on Clean up… as shown below;

When you do that, windows will ask if you are sure, then click DELETE and wait for it to delete the system restore points.

Final cleaning process below

When windows finish deleting, you will notice the OK and CANCEL buttons, so click OK and that will be all.
Go back to your drive C and see the amazing wonders of your system restore points.
